Busy, busy, busy!
Things have been so crazy busy around here lately. At work....crazy. At home....crazy, crazy. Digiscrappin.....busy, busy. All together it's just been one huge crazy busy ball. I wonder what that would look like if it were an actual object...crazy busy ball....chaotic, I'm sure.
With everything going on I haven't had much time to just blog, (not like I do it alot anyways, ha ha). But I thought I'd post a quick note to let everyone know that tomorrow or Friday will be something special! So keep a look out in digiland, and I'll be back. :)
Happy Wednesday :)

October Addicts at Brownie Scraps
I can't believe it's already October, this year is going by so quickly. Most of you know that a new month also means a new Addicts Club at Brownie Scraps. This month it's being hosted by Sara (Scrap Sprinkles Designs) and Gab (Snuggle Berry Pie Designs). They are both fantastic designers with some adorable products. The kits in this months Addicts Club are no exception....they are simply adorable. Here are the details for the Club, followed by a little peek at the free mini you get with your download (in the form of our Speed Scrap schedule) :).
Happy October!!

Hey everyone....I know it's been a while!! These designers really know how to keep a girl busy, lol.
Today I wanted to let you all know, in case you missed it, I made some freebie stuff using Falling 4 U from Scraps by Mara. It's such a fun, colorful Fall kit. Here's a preview of her kit, a preview of what you get in the freebie pack, plus the LO's I did with her kit.

Pure Craziness!
Yes, I know I don't blog often enough to keep things and events separate or time frames from running together, etc. -- but even if I did, this past couple of weeks would have been pure craziness anyways!
My last post was about being accepted to Ramona's CT, and let me just say that I'm having so much fun doing that. I get to learn new things, see some awesome creativity flow through her forum, and see how Ramona puts together her kits...from idea to product...she really is amazing. I'm so excited to see the products she's currently working on be moved into the store and for the ideas that are just sparking to go through the process of idea, to sketch, through to product. You all will be just as happy to see (and work with) her awesome products.
Then this last week started!!! I was asked to be on another CT for Becky of B2N2 Scraps (Becky's the brains behind me applying for CT's in the first place), and she has some adorable kits as well, so be looking out for her newest release within a week or so.
After that I decided to try and participate in the Designer Survivor contest going on at Brownie Scraps. Why? Good question. I am seriously the furthest thing from a designer there possibly is, so I don't know what I was thinking when I sent in my email. But I'm there, I'm competing and I'm meeting some truly awesome people that have come from all around the world to participate in the same challenge. So even if I don't make it past the first week, it's OK, I've already learned quite a bit and had a lot a fun.
In the middle of all the Designer Survivor chaos, I got an email saying I was accepted to another CT for Evie of FlutterbyeFaery Designs. That was the proverbial cherry on top. I was (am) shocked and excited. Evie has such a beautiful product line, with new stuff coming out, and I'm excited to be able to work with more of her stuff. That girl is very talented, you all just don't know!
If all of that isn't enough, I made the huge decision a couple months ago to take my youngest child out of traditional school and start on-line schooling at home...that starts tomorrow and I don't even have a desk for him to work at or his computer set up and ready to go...so that means he'll be using mine for school until I get his set-up, meaning less computer time for me, very sad!
Then, while at a Discovery event for his new school this morning, I get a phone call....it's the district manager for the school district I work for (cashier), and she's offering me a position with a little more hours at a different school! Ahhhh, what to do, what to do! I've been at the same school for 7 years now, and there's so much nonsense, drama, and unfair management going on that I decided it's time to go....so in about a week and a half I'm moving to another school! Meeting new people, doing different stuff at a totally different place. I don't like change, but it's time!
And scouts starts back up tonight!!! Holy cow, I almost forgot. Guess I better get stuff ready for the meeting.
Hopefully the craziness will subside soon and I'll be able to post more regularly. If you've read this far, thanks for listening. :o)

More "unbaked" goodies = freebies
So earlier I was telling you how I was participating in the ever-so-challenging "Unbaked Brownie" challenge at Brownie Scraps. So, for some reason, at about 3 a.m. this morning (or lastnight really, cuz I was still awake), I got this hankerin' to make some papers.
I made a few papers, posted them and then Miss Gabs, a BS resident designer (who happens to be very encouraging), commented about also making some ellies.

Free Alpha's =)
I've been participating in the Unbaked Brownie Challenge this month at Brownie Scraps (my very favorite place in the whole wide cyber-world). The challenge is where the host provides a color palette, and you can either make a mini kit, an alpha, a paper pack, element pack or simply scrap with one that someone else has made. So I've made a couple alphas you can have for free! (YAY free!) There are also several cute mini kits that have been made by other ladies for the same challenge, so hurry on over and get them before they're gone! You can find the challenges thread HERE. And here are my alphas.....

Music To My Ears and Template Freebie
Happy weekend everyone! I want to start off by sharing my latest LO of one of the first pictures of Bella and Liz together. This is one of Liz's first looks at her beautiful baby girl. The LO is done with one of Ryan's (aka Roseytoes Designs) newest kits "Music To My Ears". The colors are great and there are many fantastic elements. It's on sale this weekend, (see the post below).
Now on to the freebie! This template is obviously made from the LO above, I think I may use it, flip it and twist it with some other kits later today. Hope you like it and can use too!

Operation Hug-a-Hero -------and a freebie!
Today I want to let you all know of a sweet charity that many designers (including our very own Ryan of Roseytoes Designs) are contributing mini kits to add to a mega kit. The charity is Operation Hug-a-Hero, you can read all about it here. Here is a preview to the entire mega kit that you can find at theStudio for only $5.00, and 100% of the proceeds are donated to Operation Hug-a-Hero. That's an awesome deal!
So, I, of course, decided to do a LO with the mini. It was kinda hard for me, cuz for some reason all I could think of when looking at the kit and charity was my dad. He used to be my hero, as you might be able to tell from the photo, not so much anymore though. There's been a ton of things and people come between us, and there's alot of hurt and pain I can't seem to let go of for whatever reason. This photo is from the 70's, when we were still close. I haven't seen my dad in almost 20 years. He has a new family and new life, and well, that's about it.
So you know I couldn't resist doing a QP as well, so here's a little freebie for you all - Enjoy!

Welcome Isabella!
Isabella is finally here!! She was born this past Monday evening, 7lbs 4oz, 21 1/2 in. long. She's amazingly beautiful! Welcome little one, you are already so loved. My first LO (of many to come) of Isabella is from today (4/16), you can still see the little band-aid on her foot from her Dr. visit this afternoon. She didn't like that visit too much. I used the kit "Perfectly Pink" by Marti scraps.

Plum Krazy and a Freebie
Happy Saturday everyone!! I thought I'd share another QP just for the fun of it. But first let me show you the kit. It's another great kit from Ryan of Roseytoes Designs. There's so much purple! For me that's a good thing, cuz it's the favorite color of two of my daughters as well as the school/team color of my youngest daughters school. So I'll be able to use this kit for lots of photos. There's also lots of blue, which is good to have for photos of my Joey. The kit is "Plum Krazy" and you can find it in her stores at Moo Two Designs or Live Snap Scrap. (right now it's on sale at Moo Two Designs)
As for the LO I made with the kit.......like I said, I have alot to use purple with. This is my daughter, Kadi, in one of her many "self-portraits".

Long Lost Love Freebie
Thought it was time for another freebie. I'm running low on photos to scrap for myself, and I've posted a few QP's already, so to satisfy my scrapping need and freebie time I decided to put together some cluster frames. I used "Long Lost Love" by Roseytoes Designs again - one, because it's such a great kit, and two, because you can still get the kit for free by visiting The Daily Scrapper where Ryan is being featured. Enjoy!

So at Brownie Scraps there's all kinds of monthly challenges, one is the "Unbaked Brownie Challenge" where there is a given color palette and you're encouraged to either design a mini kit, paper pack, element pack, or do a LO with one that someone else has designed. This is the color palette for April.
And this is the first LO I've made with the kit
