The other day I mentioned (shouted, lol) that I was accepted to a new CT team. Well, the CT team is for a fabulous new designer Ryan, aka Roseytoes Designs. She has some adorable kits available in her store at MooTwo Designs. This LO is made with her kit "Boys, Boys, Boys". I've also made it into a QP you can download for free. Baby Belly LO

So I decided to do a LO of the new (and bigger) baby belly. I used "Sweet Smiles" by FlutterbyeFaery Designs. It's such a beautiful kit.

Having Some Fun

My daughter is very into sharing her belly these days, seems like every time I turn around she's wanting me to fix another picture of her belly to put up on her Facebook or MySpace page. The latest we took in black and white and messed around to add color to it. I haven't done this kind of editing in a very long time, so it may look a tad off, lol. We like how it turned out, so she'll be posting it up soon. Whatcha think??



We also did a little editing on an old shower favor label to use at her baby shower. It goes on the outside of a lunch bag size paper bag that has an unpopped bag of microwaveable popcorn in it.....cute idea we saw at my sister-in-laws baby shower a few years ago. The kit I used is "Sweet Baby Girl" by Jacabean Designs.

OMG! OMG! OMG!

I'm sooooo excited! I just got an email that I've been accepted onto my very first CT!! I cannot believe it! I'm excited, nervous, excited, happy, honored, thrilled, and did I mention excited?! I'm not sure the designer has spread the word of her new team, so I won't let the cat outta the bag, but let me just say she is an awesome young lady that is very creative. I'm so glad to be part of her team. Can't wait to get started! Until next time........

Invitations complete and mailed!

Anyone that knows me knows that I've been working on stuff for my daughters baby shower. I finished the invitations, sent them to ScrappingSimply.com for printing (they are awesome by the way), and have put them together and sent them off. They were mailed before today, thank goodness, but I'm just getting the picture uploaded to share. I used the kits "So Girly" and the "So Girly add-on" by Bethany of Scrappin Daisies Designs (she's awesome too). I think they turned out pretty cute. What do you think??

Four Days, Four Followers and a goal

Wow, can you believe it?! I can't. That's too cool! I think I may be over-posting (is that possible?). I mean, this is my third post for the day, and I thought I wasn't much of a poster. I really don't have a whole lot to say....really. I have alot of ideas of what I want to do, but don't know how to get from Point A to Point B. I've been told I should include a link to my blog and a TOU with my downloads, which is a great idea, but how do I do that? And it seems a little silly for me to even be thinking of a TOU....well, to me it seems silly.

I've seen ladies (Ryan ;)), go from creating LO's to designing, to selling in a matter of weeks. I think that's awesome, and wish I could do the same thing. I've seen ladies that have no experience at all, even just beginners in creating LO's be accepted on a CT, I really want to do that too. I've seen some amazing designers, I'd love to be able to design like them. Baby steps, right? For now I'll stick to trying to perfect the creating LO's step, and eventually set up shop next to Ryan. =) That will be my first goal!

LO and a free template =)

I finally made a template to share! But first, the LO I made from it, using the new kit by FlutterbyeFaery Designs and Punky Princess Scraps, Get Lucky. It's so cute and very green (my favorite color). Just perfect for March and all the St. Patty's Day pics. Right now it's only available in the Brownie Scraps March Addicts Club. (This is my first image upload to the blog, so hopefully it comes out right, lol.)

This is my younger sister, Jennifer, and I many years ago. I haven't seen her in probably about 20 years. We reconnected online a couple years ago, and chat every now and then.

What a day!

What a day this has been! It's the first day of our spring break, so no school or work for the next nine days (YAY). Which gives me lots of extra time for scrapping (another YAY). But the kids started the day off with a little arguing, then off for bowling with the scouts, then drop my son off for a Pinewood Derby workshop at the leaders house, then to a baby shower, had to leave early so my daughter could get to work, home now for a minute but have to leave to go get my son. Then back to make dinner, do some laundry and off to plop on the couch!!!! (YAY) lol

I'm so excited to see that today I have THREE followers (YAY again). Thanks Wendy and Nancy, this is getting fun!

I think I might start adding some of my scrapping stuff here, but I haven't quite figured all that stuff out yet. Like I said before, I'm very new to all this blogging stuff, so I really have no clue what I'm doing at all.

It's just started to rain again, so I'm off to pick my son up before it gets any better (I love AZ rain).

Step two and a follower!!

Step two...complete! I was up into the wee hours of the night, but I finally got my header finished and on my page. Looks much better than just the plain green. Can't wait to see how it all starts to come together. There are a couple things that need a little tweeking, but I'll eventually get the hang of it.

I also woke up to my first "follower". What a treat! Thanks March! Someday I hope to be as great as you are with the designing, the LO's, the posting and such. Thanks for being my first follower. =)

Wow, now a blog?!?!

My first post on my first blog! It sure doesn't look like much now, but hopefully with a little help from my friends I can get things lookin' just as cute as can be (and as cute as theirs). I'm not much of a blogger, more of a follower, but maybe that will change too. =) I'm not even sure where this will take me. Wish me luck!!
